Este filme foi uma idéia de Seth MacFarlane, que assina "Family Guy", uma série americana de humor para adultos. E na verdade, só uma mente tão doentia e distorcida como a dele podia pensar em destruir os ursos de peluche, um símbolo de nossa inocência, colocando um deles a fazer uma data de asneiras num filme de duas horas.
